Twilight

Lead me down the backdoor,
Along the corridors of your mind.
I see a soul there searching,
Lost in the graveyard of time.

There lies buried and forgotten,
Solitude for company to keep,
Half baked dreams in deep slumber,
Free fallen leaves of dry twigs.

Of recurrent sunrise and sunsets...
and a heart beat that’s heard no more
Flowers burn in love and grief…
Things fall apart, dreams lie dead.
